Meridian Revenue Solutions was formed by healthcare attorneys for the sole purpose of representing hospital business offices. Meridian’s founding attorneys have had many years of experience with different aspects of healthcare collections and saw the need for a company that possessed both the expertise and knowledge of a law firm and the process functionality of a working hospital business office with some of their most time consuming and difficult third party accounts. Meridian currently represents a vast number of hospitals ranging from rural community based institutions to national for-profit chains.
Meridian’s highly trained staff can assist in projects ranging from outsource billing follow-up to the most complex denial and appeal issues. These projects are supervised by attorneys and Meridian’s staff is trained on how to process and collect third party accounts at every stage of the revenue cycle.
Although most accounts can be successfully resolved through normal collection processes, there will always be difficult and complex accounts requiring litigation and/or direct lawyer intervention. Meridian refers those accounts to the Turek DeVore law firm. Due to common ownership, the referral is seamless and incorporated into Meridian’s recovery processes. This relationship gives the client a one-stop solution for all accounts, no matter the degree of difficulty. Unlike most other agencies, Meridian rarely refers legal matters to outside lawyers.
