- Russ DeVore, J.D., Chief Executive Officer
Russ has been a licensed attorney in Texas for more than 17 years. Russ is also licensed in New Mexico, Colorado, and Oklahoma. Prior to founding Meridian, Russ was a shareholder in the law firm of SandersBaker, P.C. He specialized in hospital revenue recovery including third party liability and denials management. Russ has litigated numerous matters involving healthcare disputes. Russ is also a shareholder in the Turek DeVore law firm. The Turek DeVore law firm is devoted to representing hospital clients in third party healthcare disputes and provides the legal muscle to Meridian for cases that cannot be resolved without litigation or law firm intervention. - Douglas Turek, J.D., President and Chief Operating Officer
Doug has been a licensed attorney in Texas for more than 13 years. For the last seven years, Doug has worked as an executive, General Counsel, and Chief Operating Officer for Cardon Healthcare Network, Inc. At Cardon, Doug was responsible for Cardon’s complete Operations, including setting up new projects, hiring and training new employees and managers, as well as maintaining projects. Doug performed these duties in eleven states and with more than 200 hospital clients. Doug is also a shareholder in the Turek DeVore law firm. - Justin Myers, J.D., Vice President and General Counsel
Justin is a licensed attorney in Texas. Until beginning with Meridian, Justin was a shareholder in the law firm of SandersBaker, P.C. Justin specialized in health insurance and other third party denial management and third party liability reimbursement. In 2007 and 2008, Justin was named a Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star in Health Care Law. Justin is also a shareholder of the Turek DeVore law firm. - Parul Das, J.D., Associate General Counsel
Parul is an attorney licensed in Texas, California and Utah. Until beginning with Meridian, Parul was an associate with The Turek Law Firm. At The Turek Law Firm, Parul specialized in third party liability litigation, health insurance appeals litigation, and other aspects of hospital revenue recovery. Parul is also an associate in the Turek DeVore law firm. - Wendy Giesbrecht, Vice President
Wendy is an experienced operational executive who has been directing the operations for TPL, Eligibility and Out of State Medicaid projects for over 15 years. She directed the operations for many large scale TPL projects during her 9 year tenure with Cardon Healthcare where she most recently served as Vice President. Prior to coming onboard with Meridian Revenue Services, she designed the SQL based Account Management system, “Apogee” that is the current operating system for Meridian Revenue and Turek Devore. - Derek Ford, Third Party Liability Project Manager
Mr. Ford is an experienced project manager for Meridian with over 8 years of experience in working and managing TPL cases. He has previously managed TPL projects for very large scale clients including Harris County Hospital District, Parkland Health and Hospital System, Seton Healthcare Network and HCA. He has worked in all roles related to the TPL program through his prior 7 years of experience with Cardon Healthcare Network. He has managed TPL projects for states across the country and is very familiar with how the law changes from state to state. - Tandy Mack, Third Party Liability Project Manager
Mrs. Mack is an experienced Project Manager that has been running third party liability projects for trauma centers for more than six (6) years. Mrs. Mack has extensive experience in training new employees for third party liability projects, in managing large volumes of accounts, and maximizing reimbursement for hospitals on their accident related accounts. Mrs. Mack is also a licensed paralegal and has vast experience supporting attorneys in litigation cases.
